The creator and performer of The Gospel According to Mark has performed at the Folger Theatre in Washington, D.C., Island Shakespeare in New York City, and is a company member of Savannah’s new Lowcountry Shakespeare. He conceived of the show as a way to take words in the book of Mark from the New Testament and “change it into a show that had flesh-and-blood.” The result is a riveting hour and twenty minute enactment of a seminal text from the Bible performed VERBATIM. Audiences come away having heard the entire story.
